We have established a partnership with J2Ke, a software development firm that focuses on quality software for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. J2Ke will be donating 50% of net revenue received from their new game, Similis Deluxe, and we are more than delighted.
On October 3rd, 2009, the 2nd Annual Jacob’s House Softball Tournament took place at the beautiful Patricia H. Birdsall Sports Park in Temecula, CA. It was a fun day of competition and prizes.
T-shirts were given to all team players, Team Trophies and Bat Bags went to First place. The tournament was an 8 Team Double Elimination Competitive Tournament along with an 8 Team Double Elimination Recreational Tournament.

TEMECULA, CA – May 1, 2009 – The LEED Certified Southern California Edison Wildomar Service Center and Edison Rancho Cucamonga facility have chosen Jacob’s House as one of the non-profit organizations to benefit from their employee 2009 Charitable Contributions Campaign.
The campaign encourages Edison employees to give annually to charitable organizations and schools of their choice. These funds benefit numerous nonprofit organizations, such as the American Heart Association, City of Hope and now Jacob’s House, just to name a few, whose programs assist those in need.
TEMECULA, CA – May 1, 2009 – Jacob’s House recently received a $55,000 in-kind donation from VMware Solutions Lead (VSL) Engineering to perform land entitlement and civil engineering services.
TEMECULA, CA – March 19, 2008 – Jacob’s House, Inc, has appointed additional board members to its Executive Board. New members are Ron Jolivette, Dr. Laurence Boggeln, and Vikita Poindexter.
TEMECULA —- The nonprofit organization raising money for the construction of Jacob’s House, a home envisioned as a haven for families caring for hospital-bound family members, is looking to build on a successful 2008, board members said.
Last year, more than $20,000 was raised for the organization, which was recognized as a nonprofit corporation by the state in 2007.
In November, in the middle of a challenging fundraising environment, Jacob’s House received the largest donation in the organization’s history, $12,340 from the Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association, board members said.
TEMECULA, CA- September 16, 2008 – Jacob’s House, Inc. challenges all softball players, their families, and friends to join the 1st Annual Family Fun Softball Tournament on Saturday, October 11, 2008 from 9am – 5:00pm at the Harveston Ballpark Fields in Temecula.
Jacob’s House invites the public to form teams and join the softball tournament. The cost is $1,000 per team entry fee. All proceeds will go directly to the Jacob’s House “Build A Dream With Us” capital campaign.
Everyone is invited to cheer a favorite team to victory. There will also be food and activities for the family to enjoy.
“We’re looking forward to seeing the community come together for a great cause and some good-natured competition,” says Christina Gamboa, Vice President of Marketing for Jacob’s House.
The date of October 11 has been chosen in memory of Jacob Nelson’s birthday.
“He loved sports, people, and this community. We couldn’t think of anything more fitting to do on his birthday,” says Jacob’s parents, Shawn and Stephanie Nelson.

Jacob Nelson passed away on October 22, 2006 as a result of a traffic accident. In the 24 years that Jacob was here on earth, his love for people and his family defined who he was as a person. He had a positive effect on more people than most people will have in a lifetime.
