During the month of March I worked on an Empowerment Fair assignment for school. My goal was to find a Charity to learn about and try to collect donations. 2nd Annual HoeDown to benefit JACOB's HOUSE was held on May 22, 2011

The Old Town Rotary Club of Temecula presented Jacob's House with a check for $3,000 on Tuesday evening, July 19th at the Gambling Cowboy in Old Town Temecula.

"2011 Green Car of the Year"!

The Winner of the 2011 Chevy Volt was announced on Monday, July 4th! Alicia Frausto from Temecula had the lucky ticket number #00905...Paradise Chevrolet Cadillac in Temecula grciously donated the Volt to help raise funds for Jacob's House.

...The winner was announced at 7:00pm at the Ronald Reagan Sports Park in Temecula.

Tickets were only $20.00 or a donated amount of $100.00 got you a sixth ticket for free. One Hundred percent of the proceeds went to Jacob's House and are tax deductible.

Gridiron Warriors Football Tournament

The first annual Gridiron Warriors Football Tournament held on November 26 and 27 from 8am to 8pm and the final games were played on November 28, 2010 from 10am to 6pm. The tournament was located at the Los Alamos Hills Sports Park in Murrieta and Lindfield Christian School in Temecula. The Gridiron Warriors Foundation donated $1,000.00 of the proceeds to Jacob's House.

On Friday evening Shawn Nelson presented The Jacob Nelson Award. This award was given out to one player from each division who demonstrates the qualities of Integrity, Character and Heart.

JACOB'S HOUSE ANNUAL SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT

We are getting ready for our 4th Annual Jacob’s House Softball Tournament, which has become one of the most popular softball tournaments held in our community. The tournament will take place at the Patricia H. Birdsall Sports Park, located at 32380 Deer Hollow Way in Temecula.

When the tournament opens at 8:00 am on Saturday, October 8^th, sixteen teams will compete for the coveted titles of 1^st Place for the competitive and recreational divisions. There will be eight competitive teams (B/A level), and eight recreational teams.

Whether you participate or sit on the sidelines to cheer your team on, you will be sure to have a good time. This all-day event is something the whole family can enjoy while supporting a worthy cause. The Jacob’s House Softball Tournament brings together the best in recreation and fun for the entire family.
